A Feisty Rebrand

Why have we rebranded our website?
When I began making beaded jewelry, I was in a much different place. I was in the middle of my own personal hell. Making jewelry was a place to escape to. It was my sanctuary.
What followed was a journey of healing and discovery. I learned many lessons. I got a divorce and bought a house. I learned how to stand on my own two feet. I became the person I wanted to be. I evolved.
At the beginning of the story, I thought The Woven Journey was a good name. Years later, I got to the place I am now and I realized that The Woven Journey described what I’d been through, not who I was or what this business represented for me.
I am anything but sappy and nostalgic. My journey is my own and it made me who I am today. But that’s not what making jewelry is about for me. I created these designs because I couldn’t find them anywhere else.
When everyone is walking in one direction, I go the other way. When something is trending, that’s the one thing I don’t want to be. I do what I want. I push the boundaries. I walked through fire for the right to choose my life and who gets to be in it.
No, The Woven Journey did not describe that person. That name was meant for somebody else. I sat down and wrote down all the words that described me. The one that stood out was feisty. It’s the word people use most often to describe me.
I am feisty. I dare you to try to hold me down. I dare you to try to push my buttons. I pity the fool who tries to mess with me.
My daughter reads tarot cards. For Christmas this year she gave me this picture - she is also a fabulously talented artist.

This is her interpretation of the Queen of Swords. She says that’s my card. It makes sense. The Queen of Swords with defend the vulnerable but will not suffer fools.
I am bold and mysterious. I walk my own path. My jewelry designs reflect that. That is why I chose to rebrand my website.
I dare you to push those boundaries. I dare you to be who you are without apology. Who cares what people will say? They wouldn’t be talking if they were kind. Be bold, my saucy minxes!
Welcome to Feisty and Fetching. Dare to be different.
